Frequently asked questions by our clients

If my freezer/fridge alarm starts constantly when open what should I do?
Firstly you should remove from mains and defrost the fridge. It is not recommended to tamper with any of the internal components. Call your local friendly appliance engineer.
If my Fisher & Paykel dishwasher shows any of the code warnings F1, F2, F3 or F4, what should I do next?
F1 - Turn off supply to dishwasher, of both water and electrical. Call your local friendly appliance engineer. F2, F3, and F4 simply turn off power button on machine and quote the fault code indicated to your friendly appliance engineer.
My washing machine won't spin, and won't drain water?
Frequently (every 3months) your filter should be checked to ensure that nothing is obstructing the flow. If left unchecked this could result in permanent damage to parts of the appliance. It is recommended to call your local friendly appliance engineer at this point.
If my freezer/fridge is not maintaining its temperature?
Always ensure that the temperature is set correctly, and that the door is fully closed and sealing. Sometimes a small obstruction on the door may be preventing a pressure seal. If in doubt call your local friendly appliance engineer.
One of the ovens on my double oven is not working. What can I check?
If there is a clock on the oven, ensure that it is set properly, especially after a power outage. If problems still persist, call us to arrange an appliance engineer to visit you.
